Technology is changing in so many ways. Numerous classes have access to some sort of device that captures video. It can be difficult to have children run the devices on their own, but if you take the effort into teaching them the proper ways; it can be successful. Movie making can be a fun little twist to make the assignment worth a little bit more and have a creative aspect for a final project. One way I would put this task into my class was if I were to have the students make a movie poster and than work in groups to make the movie come to life.

I have found that videoing does have its tough times. I found it easier to make the movie trailer because it had a clear template on which shots needed to go where. With the first movie project it is a bit more choppy in the aspect that we just tried to get every shot even if they didn't flow together nicely.

Edpuzzle was a tool that I was not familiar with. I found it interesting that you could have a video and ask the students questions at the same time. That aspect of the program is nice in the way that the students can not go further into the video; if they do not complete the questions. #EDTS325 #moviemaking #edpuzzle #newideas
