about me

I attended two years at Medicine Hat College before I transferred to the University of Regina. I am currently in my third year of studies. I grew up on a farm SW of Moose Jaw on a mixed grainland and cattle operation. I am the fourth child in my family along  with my two brothers and two sisters. We are the fifth generation to grow up on the family farm. I am heavily involved in the CCYA and the 4-H program. While in these programs I have sat on numerous planning committees. With the CCYA program I have been elected as a Saskatchewan Director and currently the president for the 2021-2022 term on the National Board.  I have gotten the opportunity to travel from Alberta through Ontario with the CCYA program; with the inclusion of meeting members from across the ocean. By meeting with these individuals I have notice how different cultures learn.

In my high school years I was heavily involved in sports. I participated in volleyball, basketball, curling and track& field. I was head coach  with Parkside School of Redcliff, AB for two years; while attending Medicine Hat College. Becoming a coach has taught me discipline and organizational skills that I would not have had to learn so quickly if it weren't for balancing school work, practice and game times.
